2024 Recap: Integrated Financial Group Annual Retreat

Since 2005, the IFG Annual Retreat has been a cornerstone event that unites the IFG Family to celebrate the start of a new year with collaboration and camaraderie. This year’s retreat marked a significant milestone as we reminisced on a journey that began in November 2003 with the founding of Integrated Financial Group, when Don Patrick and 30 advisors came together, laying the groundwork for what would eventually flourish into our Consortium and “The Brain Trust.”

Over the past two decades, we’ve grown remarkably, encompassing 67 teams across 13 states. While the numbers are impressive, it is the quality of our community that stands out as our greatest achievement. As we continue to navigate both triumphs and challenges, one constant theme prevailed: we could achieve so much more together than alone.

This year’s theme, “Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler: Letting the Good Times Roll Since 2003,” encapsulated this spirit, inviting us to celebrate not just our past but also the joy of shared experiences and aspirations for the future. Read on to learn all about the engaging discussions, and meaningful takeaways from the event!

What is Integrated Financial Group and the Brain Trust?

At Integrated Financial Group, we champion the unique journey of each independent financial advisor by offering tailored support, cutting-edge resources, and a collaborative community. Embrace the freedom of independence with the backing of a network committed to your growth and success. Through our Brain Trust, we provide year-round opportunities to gather, confabulate, and empower each other to reach our full potential. This initiative is not just about sharing knowledge; it’s about fostering relationships, brainstorming innovative solutions, and celebrating each advisor’s individual achievements within our collective framework.

The Brain Trust embodies our philosophy that collaboration leads to greater success. It creates a vibrant space where advisors can share insights, overcome challenges, and inspire one another. With regular meetings, events, and access to exclusive resources, we ensure that every member feels supported and equipped to thrive in today’s dynamic financial landscape. Together, we are not just building a network; we are cultivating a powerful community that champions excellence and encourages growth for all its members.

The State of the Consortium 2024

The collective experience within the Brain Trust is a powerhouse of knowledge, boasting over 2,000 years in the financial advisory field, with an average of 23.5 years per advisor. We maintain a tight-knit network where 97% of our advisors express their willingness to recommend IFG to their peers. This wealth of experience ensures that our community is well-equipped to navigate the challenges of today’s financial landscape.

In 2023, IFG team members conducted 194 in-person meetings with Consortium Members and their teams, along with four Simplified Business Planning Meetings and various Mastermind Groups. These interactions not only strengthen our connections but also empower our advisors to share insights and strategies that drive production growth and enhance client service.

2024 Retreat Agenda Recap

This year’s Annual Retreat commenced with an introductory session facilitated by Land Bridgers, Don Patrick, and Andrews Browne from IFG, which set the stage for the event and allowed attendees to meet fellow advisors while understanding the Retreat’s objectives.

Following this, participants engaged in an Advisor Growth Panel that featured insights from Rich Lombardi of Integrated Wealth Strategies, Key Smith of Natchez Wealth Management, and Land Bridgers. This discussion explored effective strategies for business growth, sharing real-life experiences and success stories that inspired advisors on their paths to success.

The agenda also included a series of interactive workshops led by industry experts, focusing on various aspects of financial planning and client relationship management. These workshops provided valuable opportunities for hands-on learning and networking, enabling advisors to enhance their skills in a collaborative environment.
